To facilitate better and more challenging player-vs-player combat, the ability to recall will be removed from those who are an aggressor to another player. Players who wish to start a fight with other players will find it more difficult to escape if their attack goes poorly.
Examples of how a player can become an aggressor include:
Attacking another player.
Attacking the pet of a player.
Stealing from a player.
Casting an area affect spell that damages another player or tamed pet (this includes field spells).
Having a blade spirits or energy vortex attack another player or tamed pet.
A player is an aggressor for two minutes after their last attack. Players who are attacked and are not an aggressor to another player can still recall as normal. Players will not become aggressors through attacking untamed animals/monsters. Note that all players, regardless of their reputation, would be affected by this change.
We will also be working to address the known issues with regards to aggressors and insta-logging at this time.
I cannot emphasize enough how ineffably cool and how wildly exploited this will be.
